Franklin County Conservation

Environmental Education

Franklin County Conservation is all about education. Helping people better understand the delicate and complex nature of the earth's eco-system and conservation practices is one of the Conservation's most important roles.

To do this, Conservation works very closely with the schools, youth groups, civic organizations, and community agencies in Franklin County. Schools often take field trips to the various parks and wildlife areas, not to just look around, but to actually learn about the natual environment and ways to help preserve it for future generations.
