The Franklin County Recorder's Office is a passport acceptance agent. As passport agents, we can assist you in completing and mailing applications for passports. This offers a convenient way to take care of the passport needs of Franklin County citizens. Passports are currently required for all international travel except for sea and land travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central & South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. Passport requirments for all travel to these areas will go into effect June 2009. Applications can be submitted at the Recorder's Office. Certified copies of Franklin County births are also available in our office. |

Fees must be paid in two (2) checks.
Checks for minors under age 18 must be in the name of the parent/guardian. The passport fees paid at the time of application are non-refundable processing fees. |
